African Dream Safaris did everything well---from start to finish. From Michael Wishner's pre-safari advice to our final ****** to the Kilimanjaro airport, all of our expectations were met or exceeded. There are not enough superlatives to extol the virtues of Thompson, our guide, who made the experience beyond memorable. And we won't even try to describe our stay at the unbelievable Ngorongoro Crater Lodge!
Thank you to all who worked so hard to make our first safari the best.

Read on FeefoAfrica Dream Safaris far exceeded our expectations in every way. From the time our feet hit the ground in Africa, we were treated like Family. Everyone went out of their way to ensure this was the best vacation we have ever had and they were successful. We didn't go on this vacation for the accommodations, the food, the friendly people, the service, etc, even though all of those were Excellent. We went to see the animals in the wild. As we descended out of altitude and turned onto the final approach at the Ndutu Airstrip, the animals started to appear as if we were in some Magical Wonderland. The Giraffes feeding in the Trees, the Zebras, Wildebeest, and Hattebeast and Gazelles feeding along the tree line of the Airstrip. It was like they were all lined up to Welcome us to be Greatest adventure of a lifetime. From that point on, things just kept getting better. Out Guide was perfect. He left no question unanswered, made sure we were put in the best position and light to get the best shots with our camera and took care of our every need. When we arrived, we met our Guide and when we left, we left behind a good Friend. While on this trip, we had the opportunity to talk to many other people on Safari, some of which were other ADS guests, and my wife and I became certain that Africa Dream Safaris was the best, hands down. Thank you for the Vacation of a Lifetime.

Read on FeefoReally enjoyed the trip. Everything went very well. The accommodations were great - we really liked the tented bush camps and found the tents very comfortable and well maintained. The food was very good as was the service. Our Guide, Claude, was excellent and easy to get along with - we became good friends. He always got us to the right places at the right time and never rushed us - great pace. We saw over 40 different types of animals and birds - our only miss was Black Rhino's which were very elusive. In general we found the northern Serengeti more interesting than the southern - more animals and greener terrain this time of year. The visit to the Maasai and Hadzabe tribes was a highpoint of the trip - we were greeted warmly and encouraged to get involved with them including dancing with the Maasai and hunting with the Hadzabe. There were no negatives in the trip, but on a comparative basis the crater was a bit of a disappointment due to being very dry and the fact that we saw the same animals earlier in greater numbers on the Serengeti. Also the roads in the Serengeti and nearby areas were very rough and took some getting used to - but would not stop us from doing it again!
Overall a 1st class experience from the flights there and back, to the hotel and ADS staff in Arusha and to the safari itself. Would recommend it to anyone.

Read on FeefoFrom the minute I expressed interest in the Safari Dawn Anderson was in constant contact to give information or answer questions that I had. The detailed book and additional emails about what to pack was helpful. The personnel that met us at the airport all the way to the hotel staff and especially the safari quide/driver went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed each and every day.

Read on FeefoWe’ve always wanted to go on a safari in Africa, but we were intimidated by the amount of touring companies available. We did our research for months, including speaking with references from various companies and we ultimately decided to choose African Dream Safaris.
Our experience was pleasant from the start. Dawn was a wonderful liaison – friendly, nice, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. Still, did we make the right choice? Well let me tell you, everyone we met, starting from our arrival at the airport, had the exact qualities of Dawn! We could not believe how friendly, helpful, and caring the staff were.
Then we met our guide, Russell, the one we’d be spending most of our time with. If I had to use one word: amazing. We were extremely happy with Russell. He was always so attentive to our family’s needs, tailoring each day’s trip to maximize our enjoyment of what the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater had to offer.
Not only did he frequently spot all kinds of wildlife from afar, but he made sure the entire family could view the animals without disturbing or threatening them. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the best angle and lighting for photographs and video. His deep respect for nature and wildlife was exemplary.
Russell and the entire staff of African Dream Safaris exceeded our expectations and were responsible for a fantastic vacation that we will never forget. African Dream Safaris truly made our wishes come true.

Read on FeefoEmmanuel knew where the animals were and took us there. He was attentive to our needs. We spent three hours tracking down a rhinoceros . Dawn in the headquarters did a great job of planning the trip for us. The lodges were great. I highly recommend ADS.
