Details

The Nomadic Soul of the Serengeti Siringit Migration Camp is a sophisticated, semi-permanent retreat designed to follow the rhythmic pulse of the Great Migration. By stripping away the permanence of a lodge, this camp offers the “tangible soul” of the wild—allowing guests to live in symbiosis with nature. Custom-designed and locally crafted, the camp combines elegant interiors with the raw energy of the plains. Whether you are witnessing the birth of new life in the south or the high-stakes river crossings in the north, Siringit Migration Camp ensures you have a front-row seat to the most dramatic wildlife show on Earth.

Following the Herds Unlike fixed lodges, Siringit Migration Camp relocates twice a year to anticipate the boldest movements of the wildebeest and zebra herds.

  • The Green Season (Dec 15 – April 1): Located at the Ndutu site in the Southern Serengeti. This is the stage for the calving season, where hundreds of thousands of calves are born on the nutrient-rich short-grass plains, attracting intense predator action from lions and cheetahs.
  • The Dry Season (June 1 – Nov 7): Positioned at the Kogatende site in the Northern Serengeti. Here, guests are at the epicenter of the Mara River crossings, witnessing the dramatic struggle against currents and crocodiles.
  • Tactical Advantage: Because the camp moves with the herds, travel times to the action are minimized, often resulting in wildlife simply “coming to you” at the camp.

The Art of Mobile Luxury The camp features eight to ten luxury tents (depending on the season), including a specialized family tent that can accommodate up to four guests.

  • Under Canvas Elegance: Each tent is a masterclass in “glamping,” featuring fireplaces to take the chill off Serengeti nights and elegant, custom-made interiors that blend into the environment.
  • Traditional Rituals: Enjoy the ultimate safari tradition with hot showers available 24/7 and comfortable beds that offer a restful sanctuary after a day on the plains.
  • Intimate Scale: The small number of tents ensures total seclusion and personalized attention from a dedicated camp team.

Fine Dining in the Wild The culinary experience at Siringit Migration Camp is a celebration of the senses, offering indoor and outdoor dining depending on the weather.

  • Chef-Prepared Excellence: Enjoy gourmet set menus prepared by professional chefs in a mobile kitchen, featuring fresh ingredients and a selection of fine cellar wines.
  • Early Morning Rituals: Wake up to the invigorating smell of fresh coffee and tea delivered to your tent, or enjoy a champagne breakfast under the canopy of an Acacia tree following a balloon safari.
  • The Campfire Tradition: Nightly sundowners are served around a roaring bonfire, where the deep roar of distant lions provides the perfect soundtrack to your evening meal.
  • Seamless Power: 220v solar power supply with battery packs and a silent standby generator ensures 24/7 electricity for charging devices.
  • High-Speed Connectivity: Fast, complimentary WiFi is available throughout the camp, allowing you to share your migration photos in real-time.
  • Personalized Service: Services include room service, in-room safes, hairdryers, and plush robes.
  • Eco-Conscious Luxury: The camp is designed with a minimal footprint, using solar hot water and sustainable practices to protect the pristine wilderness it calls home.
