POLI Village School: The Heart of the Community

A Non-Touristy Cultural Exchange

Poli is a traditional village located near the Africa Dream Safaris local offices. Unlike “staged” cultural visits, a trip to Poli offers a genuine look at Tanzanian life.

The Education Initiative

The teachers at Poli Village Primary School work in overcrowded classrooms with very few resources for their 300+ students. ADS supports the school through cash donations and supplies, ensuring the children of our own staff’s neighbors have the tools to succeed.

The Poli Village Excursion: This 2-hour tour is a guest favorite. You will meet the Village Chairman under a century-old tree (the traditional “office”) to learn about the challenges of water, electricity, and education in rural Tanzania.

• Direct Support: ADS donates $30 per person directly to the school for every guest who takes this tour.
